Only 25 units worldwide, a rare limited edition model allocated to Japan

On July 15, Royal Enfield began accepting online purchase applications for the limited edition model “SHOTGUN 650 × Rough Crafts Edition,” a collaboration with Taiwan-based custom bike factory “Rough Crafts.”
Only 25 units will be sold worldwide. Of these, only five units were allocated to the Japanese market, making it an extremely rare model. Purchases will be made online, followed by a lottery on July 29, granting the right to purchase to the winners.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 1,356,300 yen (tax included). Applications will be accepted from 14:30 on July 15 to 16:00 on July 29, with a lottery scheduled for 18:00 on the same day.
This limited edition model was inspired by the custom bike “Caliber Royale,” created by Winston Ye, head of Rough Crafts.
It was first unveiled at the 2025 EICMA (Milan International Motorcycle Show) and later exhibited at the Royal Enfield event “Motoverse 2025” held in Goa, India, attracting significant attention from custom fans worldwide.
The base SHOTGUN 650 was developed as a custom-oriented model adopting a modular design philosophy, characterized by its ability to be freely tailored to a variety of styles. This collaboration can be described as a special edition that the manufacturer itself expresses its freedom of customization.
The greatest appeal of the SHOTGUN 650 × Rough Crafts Edition lies in its one-of-a-kind styling.
The body, combining Glossjet Black and Matte Stealth Black, shows different expressions depending on how the light hits it. Furthermore, the gold leaf stripes running across the entire body emphasize its luxury and presence.
The fuel tank is fitted with a cast brass collaboration badge, and the top features a serial number design. Exclusive features not found in standard models are generously adopted, such as black bar end mirrors, quilted leather seats, contrast-colored aluminum wheels, and gold-finished front fork inner tubes.
Additionally, the owner will receive a special design sketch of “Caliber Royale,” signed by Winston Ye, head of Rough Crafts, as a special artwork with a serial number. Not only as a vehicle, but also as a collector’s item, its value has increased.
Adrian John Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsports at Royal Enfield, commented, “This model most beautifully embodies the ‘Custom First’ concept of the SHOTGUN 650.”
While incorporating Rough Crafts’ unique black and gold design into the production car, it faithfully reproduces the Caliber Royale’s artistry, craftsmanship, and understated yet powerful silhouette.
Since its founding, Royal Enfield has continued to create motorcycles that allow riders to freely express their individuality. The SHOTGUN 650 × Rough Crafts Edition is an iconic model that blends the brand’s philosophy with global custom culture, making it an exceptionally special piece that only five people in Japan can own. The lottery sales system also reflects its high rarity and the high expectations it receives from around the world.
